extends Object

Fetches and caches OIDC discovery documents for configured issuers.

Discovery is part of the production trust chain: the advertised issuer must match the configured issuer before endpoints are accepted. The local stub IDP exposes the same metadata shape so applications can use the same client code in local tests and production.

Parameters:

Returns:

validated discovery metadata

Discovers using only the supplied transport, without the process-wide legacy cache. The caller owns caching/lifetime so metadata accepted via another transport cannot bypass its trust policy.
